Spotify is probably the single most used application to stream music around the world. With the Spotify app, you are able to add songs to your library so that you don’t have to search for them over and over again. For Spotify Premium users, you can even download the songs that you have added to your library for offline listening. With Spotify Premium, you can download 10,000 songs for offline listening on five different devices. That’s 50,000 total tracks across everything. Strangely, there’s no way to download individual songs; you have to download either albums or playlists. Open Spotify and head to the album or playlist you want to save for offline listening. In the Preferences pane, you can change the size of the cache that Spotify uses. Spotify’s default setting specifies that the cache size can never be larger than 10 percent of free disk space, which gives you plenty of room to store tracks without eating into your remaining hard drive space. Premium Spotify subscribers can download selected playlists, albums, and podcasts and listen to it all without using up any data. To save your data with Offline Mode, follow our guide on how to. Another Spotify file that took a lot of space (and made it slow on startup) was for local library that's synced to Spotify. It's called local-files.bnk and its in AppData Roaming Spotify Users youruserfolder (for example 12345-user).
